Volunteer Appreciation 2014

On June 3rd, 2014 over 100 Community Care Volunteers gathered in Madoc to celebrate a Magical Evening in appreciation of everything they do for Community Care. The volunteers were able to step into a world of magic with top hats, stars, cards and wands for centerpieces on tables, and white rabbits, dice, and magicians posted around the room. The evening was a great success and volunteers left in awww of amazement as Evans and Evans Magic and Comedy performed an amazing magic show. We want to let all our volunteers know that you all are greatly appreciated and our agency wouldn’t be able to exist without wonderful volunteers like you.

Notes of Appreciation

A client contacted the office to say how happy she was with her driver yesterday. “He knew his way around the hospital and we were in and out in no time. I didn’t have to worry about anything. He is just wonderful.”

When contacted for a follow up after moving, a grateful clients said "“thank you so much for caring!”

A driver goes above and beyond! After a conversation with a Transportation driver's partner, we were informed that the driver stops each day for a Dialysis Client at Tim Horton’s on the way home to be sure she eats each day! The driver also takes her mug home each day and washes it for her then delivers it back to her.
